David’s last position from 1993 until 2006 was as Vice President of
Operations and Sales for an Austin firm specializing in design and installation
of structured cabling systems for large, commercial, voice and data applications.
He handled all bidding and proposal development, capital and operations budgets,
staff development, and project oversight.
David has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and structured
cabling industry. David is recognized by the Building Industry Consulting Services
International (BICSI) as a Registered Communications Distributions Designer (RCDD).
David’s experience has included all aspects of the structured cabling field,
including cabling system design, writing specifications, budgeting, installation,
and implementation. David’s extensive cabling system experience includes cabling for
Voice, Data, Network, Security, Access & Control, CCTV, Environmental Control,
Wireless, Monitoring, Telemetry, and Public Address systems in both indoor and
outside plant environments.
David serves on the legislative committee of the Central Texas Chapter of the
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and is an active member of BICSI. He
has extensive knowledge of NEC, EIA/TIA, BICSI and other related industry standards
and codes and strives to embed those guiding principles into all team members.
